Terms of Service
Last updated 3 October 2026
These terms are the contract between you and [Company name], [Registered address], IČO [IČO] (“we”, “us”). They apply to the QRTint website, dashboard and short links (the “service”). Full provider details are in the legal notice. How we handle personal data is explained in the privacy policy.
1. The service
You design QR codes in our editor. Each code contains a short link that we host (for example /r/abc123). When someone scans it, we record the scan and forward them to the destination you chose. You can change the destination, pause a code or give it an end date at any time from your dashboard.
2. Your account
- You need an account to save codes. Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- You must be at least 18, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
- The information you give us, especially your email address, must be accurate so we can reach you.
3. Plans and prices
| Plan | Price | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | €5 per month | Up to 5 QR codes, scan analytics, all styles and downloads |
| Unlimited | €10 per month | Unlimited QR codes, scan analytics, all styles and downloads |
- Prices are the final amount you pay. If VAT applies, it is already included.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically every month and are charged on the same day each month until you cancel. Before you pay, you'll see the price and renewal terms at checkout.
- You can switch plans at any time. An upgrade is charged pro rata straight away. A downgrade gives you credit for the unused part of the month, applied to your next invoice.
- If we change prices, we'll email you at least 30 days before the new price applies. You can cancel before then.
4. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time in Billing → Manage billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and then it ends. Nothing more is charged.
Your QR codes only redirect while you have an active plan. When your plan ends, people who scan your codes see a page saying the code is inactive. Your account, codes and statistics are kept, and everything works again as soon as you subscribe again. If a payment fails, Stripe retries it for a while and your codes keep working meanwhile.
5. Refunds and your right to withdraw
14-day money-back guarantee. If you're not happy, ask for a refund within 14 days of your first payment and we'll refund it in full. No reason needed. Email [Support email] from your account's email address. We refund to the original payment method within 14 days of your request. Your plan ends when the refund is issued.
Renewal payments after the first month are not refunded. You can cancel at any time to stop future payments (see section 4).
Statutory right of withdrawal (consumers)
If you are a consumer, you also have the legal right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days of concluding it, without giving a reason (Act No. 108/2024 Coll. on Consumer Protection). Our money-back guarantee already gives you a full refund in that period. To withdraw, send us a clear statement by email, for example using the form below. It is enough to send it before the 14 days are up. We'll refund all payments received from you without undue delay, and within 14 days at the latest, using the same payment method. This costs you nothing.
Model withdrawal form
To: [Company name], [Registered address], [Support email]
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the following service: QRTint subscription (plan: ________)
Ordered on: ________
Name and email address of the account: ________
Date: ________
6. Acceptable use
Your codes must not lead to, or be used for:
- phishing, scams, or pages that pretend to be someone else to collect passwords, payment or personal details;
- malware, unwanted software, or anything that harms the device of the person scanning;
- content that is illegal, or that infringes other people's rights (for example copyright or trademarks);
- spam, or hiding where a link really goes in order to deceive people.
We check destinations against Google's lists of unsafe sites when you save a code, and again when it's scanned. We may refuse a link, or block a code, if it breaks these rules or is reported to us and the report checks out. A blocked code shows a page explaining that it's been blocked. For serious or repeated abuse we may close the account. Where the law allows, we will tell you why. You can reply to us if you think we made a mistake.
7. Your content
The names, links, logos and designs you add stay yours. You give us permission to store them, show them to you, and use them to run the service, for example to render your codes and redirect scans. You confirm that you have the rights to anything you upload, such as logos.
The AI designer turns your description into suggested designs. The suggestions are yours to use. Check that they suit you, since an AI can get things wrong.
8. Availability
We work hard to keep short links fast and available, but we can't promise the service will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance or outages at our providers. We may improve or change features. If we ever discontinue the service, we'll tell you at least 60 days in advance and refund any prepaid period you can no longer use.
9. Liability
We are liable without limit for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. For other damage caused by ordinary negligence, our liability is limited to the typical, foreseeable damage, and in total to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event. None of this limits rights you have as a consumer that the law doesn't allow to be limited. We are not responsible for the content of the destinations you or others link to.
10. Complaints
If something doesn't work as it should, email [Support email]. We'll confirm we've received your complaint and handle it within 30 days. If you're a consumer and we can't agree, you can turn to the Slovak Trade Inspection (SOI) as an alternative dispute resolution body. See the legal notice.
11. Closing your account
You can delete your account and all its codes, statistics and files yourself in Settings → Delete account. A live subscription is cancelled at the same moment, without a refund for the rest of the period (unless you're still within the 14 days in section 5 — then ask us for the refund first). Deleted codes stop working immediately and can't be restored. Invoices stay with Stripe, as the law requires.
12. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms.
13. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of that country, and you may bring a claim in its courts.
